Minor: Lost Boy - The Cupboard Scene Render

The previz for Lost Boy is near completion. I wanted to show a render of the cupboard scene from the previz, I painted over the render to add in those scracthy textures and amplified the yellow to get a feel for how it will look in the final film with fully textured and lit scenes.

Minor - Lost Boy: Mrs Pratt - Model Update

I painted over the renders to get the details into the Mrs Pratt model such as the wrinkles and folds in the sleeve before I texture her fully.

Minor: Lost Boy - Young Graeme Updated Renders

With these renders I put a white background behind young Graeme to represent the white space that is going to be in the world of Lost Boy. I added the toon shader which I think goes nice against the white background, I need to tweak it further so that the toon shows up in the inside lines of young Graeme and also see if it works to my advantage with camera movements, I also added the rosy cheeks which I think gives him a nice quirk.

Minor: Lost Boy - Young Graeme Model Update - Details Added To Face

I have added some subtle changes to Young Graeme's face such as Rosy cheeks and freckles to try and make him look younger, I am liking the way the Rosy cheeks look.

Minor: Lost Boy - Art Room Turnaround Toon Renders

I have done some tests with the new Toon Shader in Arnold, I don't like the way that the outline disappears when the camera turns around and there is nothing behind the object, I am going to do more tests to see how to rectify this.

Minor: Lost Boy - Present Graeme - Render tests

Alan helped me with the material of present Graeme so that the renders will do justice to the model as I previously I had just lamberts on him before. Alan showed me that Lambert's just absorb all of the light, whereas an AI standard has more control, I am really liking the way that the material looks, I think he kind of looks like claymation which I like, there is so much more depth to the colour now and it makes it feel more vivid.
