Couple of pointers... make sure that all of your quotes are italicized - the one by Alcock has been forgotten. You have 'woman' in the singular on several occasions, when I think it should be plural 'women'? Be careful using film terms without explaining them to the reader - here for example,
'The birds in the movie are a McGuffin...'
If your reader is unaware what a McGuffin is, they could read this as being the species of bird... :)
