Also - re. Premise (and I keep forgetting to share this with you...) check out this artist - when I think of you and your project and your drawings, I think of her work - I think you could take a lot from her:

She gets the control in there, but there's still all that energy in her line work - I'm thinking about your backgrounds and your environments (and also your character design pipeline) but I see no reason why you shouldn't keep drawings like this as part of your final scenes, in the same way that the old tv show Paddington does...
I really like those drawings, they kind of have that UPA style but with more control and its that kind of sketchy feel that I want to come across in the animation. I'll keep these in mind for future designs to see what flourishes :)
