    Hey Graeme,

Congrats on getting this on here finally! In general terms, yes - greenlight! - with a couple of observations: I'd have a look at the scale of the slabs comprising the road; to my eye, they're too big physically, and are having the effect of shrinking the scale of everything else, and also, in perspectival terms, the slabs would be getting smaller and thinner as they recede, as opposed to bigger and more square as they're appearing here. Also watch the height of your kerb - if you look at them here, the pavements are super-high - a bit of real world reference here wouldn't go a-miss!

I do think it's a pity too that you're only using the matte painting to create sky, as opposed to a proper set extension - it wouldn't take too much of a tweak of this scene to give us a greater sense of this city extending away from your digital set. It would present you with a bigger challenge too, and I think that would be a better use of your developing skills and confidence as a draftsman. And finally.... I just think that, given your artist's preferred colour palette, I find the strength and saturation of colour to be a little jarring - maybe something more desaturated and nostalgic-seeming?

So - just a bit more finesse, and a bit more ambition in regards to a more proactive role for the matte painting... otherwise, it's time to get modelling.
